In the past few years the custom board of the European Union has converted the custom enrollments to a large extent in an electronic enrolment method.
In the past this paperless method for custom enrolments were used in different systems for every member state.
In Belgium is a PLDA system available. PLDA stands for (PaperLess Custom and Excise duties). PLDA is a system, which was developed en used in the end of 2006 as an improved system of SADBEL.
Compass is also connected to this system and is therefore able to offer a correct handling of the formalities for its customers.
